The Park Lite uses a coin cell battery number CR 2450 at 3 Volt. The expected battery life is approximately 2 years. When replacing the battery, remember to wipe it with a cloth before inserting it. (Page 33 & 38)
What happens to my clock settings when I change the battery?
When the battery is changed, the clock will reset automatically and all time settings will be lost. You will need to re-enter all time information following the setup instructions. Avoid leaving your car parked while the battery is removed, as the LCD display will switch off shortly after the battery is removed. (Page 32)
How do I mount the Park Lite on my windscreen?
Mount Park Lite on the inside of the windscreen's lower right corner, which is a legal requirement, ensuring all 4 adhesive pads touch the glass. Make sure the windscreen is at least +15°C before mounting, as the pads do not work optimally at lower temperatures. Press the device firmly against the windscreen for about 30 seconds, avoiding the middle of the backside. (Page 28-29)
How do I disable the automatic summer time/winter time adjustment?
Press and hold both button 2 and button 3 simultaneously until the display shows 'oN:Su', then gently release button 2. Continue holding button 3 until the display reads 'oF:Su', after which the display will automatically return to functional mode. (Page 26-27)
What are the maintenance and temperature limits for the Park Lite?
Avoid exposing Park Lite to temperatures below -20°C or above +75°C, as extreme temperatures can destroy the electronics and/or affect reaction time. If the device is exposed to heavy moisture or water, dry it immediately with a clean cloth, and only use a dry cloth to clean it — no cleansing agents should be used. (Page 35)
What should I do if my Park Lite develops a fault, and does opening it myself void the warranty?
If a fault occurs during the warranty period, return the device to the retailer where it was purchased along with a copy of your receipt as proof of guarantee, and it will be repaired or replaced. 5 Brugervejledning Tillykke med din nye PARK LITE mo- del FS11. Med PARK LITE i bilen skal du ikke huske på at stille P-skiven og undgår derfor dyre parkeringsbøder. Elektronikken i PARK LITE registre rer bilens bevægelser og sætter au tomatisk P-skiven på det korrekte parkeringstidspunkt og afslutter først parkeringstilstanden, når bilen sætter sig i bevægelse igen. Inden du tager PARK LITE i brug, an- befales det, at du læser hele vejled- ningen grundigt igennem.
6 For at sikre korrekt installation af PARK LITE bør nedenstående anvis ninger følges: Inden montering A: Aktiver batteriet Tør batteriet af med en klud og isæt forsigtigt batteriholderen (der kan gå lidt tid, før displayet blinker). B: Indstil det digitale ur (Uret i PARK LITE indstiller selv både sommer- og vintertid, men funktionen kan om nødvendigt deaktiveres manuelt, se C:)

9 Din PARK LITE er nu klar til monte- ring indvendigt på bilens forrude. Husk, at det er kun tilladt at have én P-skive i bilen, og det er altid føre- rens ansvar, at uret er stillet korrekt. Needit ApS og Needit Denmark ApS refunderer ikke P-afgifter.

PARK LITE må ikke ligge løst i bilen, men skal være fastmonteret på ruden for at fungere korrekt.
12 Sådan fungerer PARK LITE Når du parkerer bilen, stiller PARK LITE sig automatisk på det nærme- ste kvarter efter ankomsttidspunk- tet (f.eks. ved ankomst 10:07 stiller PARK LITE sig på 10:15). Manuel indstilling Som loven kræver, kan din PARK LITE også stilles manuelt. BEK. Nr. 327 af 29/04/2003 (§3 stk. 3): “Såfremt der under et køretøjs parkering indtræder en periode uden tidsbegrænsning, skal viseren senest ved periodens udløb indstilles på det tidspunkt, hvorfra der på ny gælder en tidsbegrænsning.” Hvis du har behov for at stille din PARK LITE manuelt, skal du blot trykke på knap 3 , og uret tæller
13 frem i intervaller på 15 minutter. Hold knappen inde, og slip, når det ønske- de tidspunkt vises. Bemærk, at denne funktion kun er tilgængelig, når PARK LITE er i parkeringstilstand.
14 Batteri Når dioden 1 begynder at blinke i 10 sekunder, hver gang PARK LITE går ind i eller ud af parkeringstilstand, skal batteriet udskiftes inden for en uge. Batteriet kan købes i en butik, der sælger knapbatterier.
Husk At Stille Uret Igen.
Når batteriet udskiftes, nulstilles uret automatisk. Du kan altid stille alle tids- indstillinger som tidligere beskrevet. Vær opmærksom på, at LCD-displayet i din PARK LITE slukker kort tid efter, at batteriet er fjernet, så undgå at for- lade bilen, så længe der ikke er bat- teri i uret.

Den vil så blive repareret eller erstattet med en ny. Ved reklamation bedes en kopi af din kvittering medbragt som garan- tibevis. Forsøg ikke at skille PARK LITE ad, da dette vil ødelægge elektronikken, og garantien bortfalder.

23 User manual Congratulations on your new PARK LITE. With PARK LITE in your car, you don’t need to remember to set the parking disc, thus avoiding expen- sive parking tickets. The electronics in PARK LITE register the movement of the car and auto- matically sets the clock at the correct parking time, and releases the park- ing mode only once the car is put into motion again. 1 2 3 Battery Diode Button 2 Button 3
24 Before making use of PARK LITE, it is recommended to carefully read the complete user manual. To ensure correct installation of your PARK LITE, please follow the instruc- tions: Prior to installation A: Activate the battery Gently insert the battery contai- ner. (It may take a short while be- fore the displays flashes) B: Set the digital clock (The digital clock automatically sets both summer and winter time, but can be de activated manually if necessary, see C:)

26 We recommend checking the setting of the clock regularly, especially the change between summer time/win- ter time and reverse. C: Activate/deactivate summer time /winter time The digital clock automatically sets both summer and winter time by de- fault. But if used in a territory with- out, you can deactivate, using the fol- lowing steps.

PARK LITE has to be mounted on the windscreen for it to work correctly.
30 How does PARK LITE work? When parking your car, PARK LITE will automatically set the clock at the nearest quarter after your ar- rival time. (E.g. arrival at 10:07, PARK LITE sets the time at 10:15). Setting the parking time manually PARK LITE can also be manually set, as required by law. BEK nr. 327 of 29/04/2003 (§3 stk. 3): “If, during the vehicle’s parking, a pe- riod of no time limit occurs, the clock must be set no later than the end of the non-limited time period, at the correct time, from when a new time limited period begins.” If you need to set the PARK LITE manually, just push button 3 and the clock will start running in 15 min-
31 utes intervals. Run the clock to the correct time and release. Please note that this function is only available when PARK LITE is in parking mode.
32 Battery When the diode 1 starts flashing for 10 seconds each time PARK LITE enters or exits parking mode, it in- dicates that the battery should be changed within a week. The battery is available at retailers selling coin batteries.
Remember To Reset Clock
When changing the battery, the clock will reset automatically. You can al- ways reset all time information by fol- lowing previous instructions. Please note that the LCD display of PARK LITE will switch off shortly af- ter the battery is removed, so please avoid leaving your car parked any- where, for as long as the battery is removed.

34 Service and warranty At our website www.needit.dk you will find an FAQ section with informa- tion on your new PARK LITE. You can also ask for advice on kundeservice@ needit.dk. Needit ApS and Needit Denmark ApS renders a warranty according to the Danish Sale of Goods Act. If faults and imperfections occur during war- ranty period, please return the device directly to your retailer, and it will be repaired or replaced with a new
Park Lite.
Please enclose a copy of your receipt, as it is your certificate of guarantee. Do not try to open PARK LITE by force, as the electronics will be de- stroyed and the warranty be void.

It is the responsibility of the driver to set the clock correctly. Any parking ticket or installation mistake is not the responsibility of Needit ApS or Needit Denmark ApS. CE labeling With the CE label, Needit ApS and Needit Denmark ApS declares that the product fulfills the general safety requirements in the relevant CE label- ing directives. With the CE label, the manufactur- er of the product guarantees that the product is produced according to the standard European safety, health and environmental standards. Electrical and electronic components (EEE) and materials can be harmful to the health and environment, and must be correctly disposed of. PARK LITE is not to be disposed of in the general trash, but has to be dis- posed of individually. The battery can be returned at any retailer selling bat- teries, and the actual PARK LITE can be disposed of at your local recycling station or at the retailer.
