How do I set up the Ninja CM401 for the first time?

First, wash all removable parts (glass carafe, brew-through lid, permanent filter, removable filter holder, water reservoir, flip-top lid, frother whisk, and scoop) in warm soapy water and dry them. Place the machine on a clean, level surface with adequate clearance, fill the water reservoir to the MAX line, then run one full cycle with only water through an empty carafe to prime the system.
