First, unpack all components and wash the removable cooking pot, glass lid, and integrated utensil with warm soapy water, then dry completely. Place the base on a clean, level surface with adequate ventilation, insert the dry cooking pot into the base, place the glass lid on top, and plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The control panel will illuminate when ready for use.
