What precautions should I take when handling the remote controller?

Do not allow any liquid to fall into the remote controller, and do not expose it to direct sunlight or heat. Do not drop the remote controller, do not place heavy objects on it, and do not step on it. If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight, use curtains to prevent sunlight from falling on the receiver. (Page 8)
