What type and how many batteries does the BP7250 require?

The BP7250 requires 4 'AA' alkaline or manganese batteries rated at 1.5V each. You should not use other types of batteries, mix new and used batteries, or mix different brands of batteries together. The expected battery life is approximately 1,000 measurements using new alkaline batteries. (Pages 10, 44)
