How do I safely disconnect the Digital Photo Frame from my computer?

Do not simply unplug or switch off the Digital Photo Frame while files are being transferred, as this can seriously damage the memory. In Windows XP, left-click on the storage device, click OK, then select Close and wait for the message 'It is Now Safe to Disconnect Hardware' before unplugging the USB cable. Note that the remote and frame function buttons will not operate while the frame is connected to a PC via USB cable. (Page 22)
