How do I properly install the Float Valve Assembly?

Insert the fluted end of the Float Valve into the hole in the Lid, then place the silicone gasket onto the fluted end so it sits in the groove. The Float Valve should move up and down freely, stopping when the silicone gasket meets the Lid.
