How do I safely handle gasoline when refueling the snow thrower?
Never fuel the machine indoors, and always extinguish all sources of ignition — including cigarettes and open flames — before refueling. Allow the engine to cool for at least two minutes before refueling, and never remove the gas cap or add fuel while the engine is hot or running. If gasoline is spilled, wipe it off the engine and equipment, move the machine to another area, and wait 5 minutes before starting the engine. Never store the machine or fuel container near any open flame, spark, or pilot light such as a furnace, water heater, or clothes dryer. (Page 6)
