How should I store the snow thrower at the end of the season?

Never store the snow thrower for extended periods with fuel in the tank or carburetor; fuel stabilizer can be added to extend shelf life if needed. Store the unit in a locked, dry place out of the reach of children, and cover it loosely with a tarp for added protection. Before storing, run the machine for a few minutes to clear snow and prevent freeze-up of the auger and impeller, then allow it to cool for at least 5 minutes. (Page 23)
