Why do I hear static noise on my Pxton walkie-talkies?
The presence of static or scratchy noises often indicates incorrectly set squelch levels. Ensure the frequency is correct and adjust the squelch level; typically setting it to around 5 out of 10 should minimize unwanted noise (Page 2).
