How do I check the battery level on the RT628?

The battery symbol on the LCD display indicates the battery charge level, ranging from full to empty. When the battery is low, the radio will beep regularly after releasing the PTT button. The radio will automatically turn off when voltage drops below a certain level to protect the battery.
