Why is my refrigerator not making ice?

The refrigerator may take longer to make ice if it is not sufficiently cool, such as when first installed. You should also check that the water line is connected and the shut-off valve is open, ensure the ice making function has not been manually stopped, and verify that the water filter is properly installed.
