Can I wash wool garments in this machine, and are there any restrictions?

Yes, you can use the Wool program to wash wool garments such as sweaters and cardigans. However, the Pre-Dry and Soak functions are not available in the Wool program, and the Hot/Cold water supply option cannot be selected. Always check the garment label and use only the recommended detergent. (Page 13)
