What should I do after first installing the refrigerator?

After you have installed the refrigerator and turned it on, allow the appliance to stand for 2 hours before loading it with food. For the ice maker, let it make ice for 1-2 days and discard the first 1-2 buckets of ice to remove impurities in the water supply system. (Pages 10, 32)
