How do I safely remove the microSD card from the Galaxy A04e?

Before removing the microSD card, you must unmount it first for safe removal. Open Settings, tap Battery and Device Care, then tap Storage, swipe right to view the SD card page, and tap the menu icon followed by Unmount. Do not remove the storage device while the device is transferring or accessing information, as this may cause data loss or damage. (Page 13)
