How do I reset the water filter indicator light?

After replacing the water filter cartridge, press and hold the Alarm button (labeled 'Hold 3 sec for Filter Reset') for approximately 3 seconds to reset the water filter indicator. The filter icon will change from red to off when successfully reset. The filter light will turn red again after about 6 months or when the refrigerator has dispensed approximately 300 gallons of water. (Page 19, 26)
