How do I reset the water filter indicator after replacing the filter?

After replacing the water filter, press and hold the Alarm/Hold 3 sec for Filter Reset button for 3 seconds to reset the water filter life indicator. Once reset, the Filter icon on the panel will turn blue, green, or yellow. The icon will turn red again after approximately six months or 300 gallons of use to signal it is time for another replacement. (Page 3)
