What should I do if the washer won't drain or spin?

Check that the drain hose is not kinked, obstructed, or frozen, and ensure the debris filter is not clogged. Make sure the door is closed and that the drain hose is inserted 6 to 8 inches inside the drain pipe. Also confirm that the washer is level and that the drain system it connects to is not clogged.
