Why is there excessive vibration or noise during my wash cycle?

Make sure the washer is installed on a level, solid, non-slippery floor, and use the leveling feet to adjust if necessary. Confirm that the shipping bolts have been removed and that the washer is not in contact with any other object. An unbalanced laundry load or items like overalls with metal decorations can also cause noise, which is considered normal. (Page 18)
