What are the LATCH system lower anchors and how do I find them?

Lower anchors are metal bars built into the vehicle, with two lower anchors for each LATCH seating position. To assist you in locating them, each seating position with lower anchors has two labels near the crease between the seatback and the seat cushion. These anchors are designed to hold only one child restraint each.
