What should I check before folding the rear seatback?

Before folding a rear seat, unbuckle all three safety belts and return them to their normal stowed position. Folding a rear seat with the safety belts still fastened may cause damage to the seat or the safety belts. Always push and pull on the seatback to make sure it is locked in place after raising it, and check that safety belts are properly routed and attached and not twisted.
