What maintenance and care should I perform on my Schumacher battery charger?

Clean and store the charger in a dry location after each use. Keep the area near the charger clear of obstructions to allow the fan to operate efficiently if equipped. Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified service technician instead. Never place a battery on top of the charger or allow it to operate in restricted ventilation areas.
