How do I adjust the height settings for different carpet types?

Use the height adjustment dial to set the vacuum to the appropriate level: set it to "High" for shag carpet, long pile, or plush scatter rugs; "Medium" for short to medium pile carpets; and "Low" for bare floors. For bare floors, also set the carpet-to-floor selector to the "Floor" position to prevent possible floor damage.
