Does the warranty cover products purchased from unauthorized sellers?
No, the limited warranty does not cover products purchased from sources other than Sony or an authorized Sony dealer, including non-authorized online auctions. It also does not cover products purchased as 'Open Box,' 'As Is,' or 'With All Faults,' and Sony will not replace missing components from such packages.
