How do I connect a USB Hard Drive for recording TV programmes?

Connect the USB Hard Drive to one of the USB connections on the TV, then switch on both the hard drive and the TV. When the TV is tuned to a digital TV channel, press Pause to start the formatting process and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that the USB Hard Drive is formatted exclusively for this TV and cannot be used on another TV or PC.
