How do I set up a USB Hard Drive for recording TV programs?

Connect the USB Hard Drive to one of the USB connections on the TV (do not connect another USB device to the other USB ports during formatting), and switch on both the USB Hard Drive and the TV. When the TV is tuned to a digital TV channel, press Pause to start the formatting process and follow the instructions on screen. Once formatted, leave the USB Hard Drive connected permanently. Note that the USB Hard Drive is formatted exclusively for this TV and cannot be used with another TV or PC.
