What does the Reverse Polarity Indicator mean?

The Reverse Polarity Indicator lights up and sounds an audible alarm when the clamps are connected incorrectly to the battery. If this happens, immediately disconnect the clamps and reconnect them with the correct polarity—red clamp to positive terminal and black clamp to the vehicle chassis or engine block.
