How do I turn the TI-36X Pro on and off, and will my data be saved when I turn it off?

Press & to turn on the calculator and press % ' to turn it off. When turned off, the display is cleared, but the history, settings, and memory are retained. The APD (Automatic Power Down) feature also turns off the calculator automatically if no key is pressed for about 5 minutes.
