Why is it important to oil the cylinders before assembly, and what oil should I use?

You must oil the cylinders or else the F1 pistons might break. The kit includes a lubricant packet (P9) for this purpose, and you should apply it only to the area shaded in gray in the instructions. Work carefully and do not touch the oil with your hands or get it into your eyes, and dispose of any leftover oil in the household trash — do not pour it down the drain.
