How do I apply and release the parking brakes on the Bobby wheelchair?

To apply the parking brakes, push the brake lever forward around the bend in the brake attachment and lock it into place in the short opening. To release the brakes, push the brake lever forward around the bend and release it fully into the long opening. The brakes are intended only to prevent unintended movement, not to slow the wheelchair while in motion. (Page 13)
