How do I cancel or drain the dishwasher mid-cycle?

Press CANCEL/DRAIN at any time during a cycle to cancel it. The dishwasher will start a 2-minute drain if needed and clear all indicators. If your dishwasher has a dual-digit display, let it drain completely, as the display clears after 2 minutes. You can also press CANCEL/DRAIN again to stop the drain immediately, but remember to drain the dishwasher before starting a new cycle. (Page 16)
