What should I do if my dishwasher does not run or stops during a cycle?

Check that the door is closed tightly and latched, the correct cycle is selected, and that there is power to the dishwasher (check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker). The motor may have stopped due to an overload but automatically resets itself within a few minutes — if it does not restart, call for service. Also verify that the water shut-off valve (if installed) is turned on. (Page 17)
