How much space do I need around my refrigerator for proper ventilation?

Allow for ½ inch (1.25 cm) space on each side and at the top for proper ventilation. When installing next to a fixed wall, leave a minimum of 2 inches (5.08 cm) on each side depending on your model to allow the door to swing open.
