What does the Whirlpool limited warranty cover and for how long?

The dryer comes with a One Year Limited Warranty that covers factory specified replacement parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship that existed at the time of purchase, when the appliance is installed, operated, and maintained according to instructions. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, improper installation, commercial use, or service by unauthorized personnel, among other exclusions.
