What should I do before starting my first wash cycle?
Add HE Detergent into the basket and laundry products into the dispenser before starting a cycle. Whirlpool suggests using the Downy Ball® dispenser for fabric softener. Then sort and load laundry, close the lid, touch Power to turn on the washer, select the desired cycle, adjust cycle settings if desired, and select additional options before pressing and holding Start/Pause to begin.
