How do I winterize or store the dishwasher when not in use?

For summer storage, turn off the water supply and power supply to the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is left in a seasonal dwelling or could be exposed to near-freezing temperatures, have it winterized by authorized service personnel to protect against water damage from freezing lines. Note that damage from freezing (such as rupture of the fill valve) is not covered by the warranty. (Page 18)
