How does the WED4985E dryer know when to stop the drying cycle?
The dryer uses metal moisture sensing strips along the back interior wall to detect moisture levels in the clothes. Once the dryer determines that enough moisture has been removed, the cycle automatically stops, preventing overdrying. (Page 2)
