How often should I clean the dryer's exhaust vent and internal cabinet lint?

Lint should be removed from the entire exhaust vent system and from inside the dryer cabinet at least every 2 years, or more often depending on usage frequency. Cleaning the inside of the dryer cabinet should be performed by a qualified servicer. After cleaning the vent system, follow the Installation Instructions for a final product check. (Page 9)
