Why are my clothes taking too long to dry?

Common causes include a clogged lint screen (clean before each load), the Air Only temperature setting being selected, or a clogged exhaust vent restricting air movement. Run the dryer for 5–10 minutes and hold your hand under the outside exhaust hood to check air movement—if you don't feel air movement, clean the exhaust system or replace the vent with heavy metal or flexible metal vent material.
