The washer requires a 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15- or 20-amp fused electrical supply, and a time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended. It must be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet; do not use an adapter, remove the ground prong, or use an extension cord. A separate circuit serving only this appliance is recommended, and the grounded outlet must be within 6 ft (1.8 m) of where the power cord attaches to the back of the washer. (Page 7)
