What does the 'Add a Garment' light mean and when can I add items?

The 'Add a Garment' light indicates an 8-minute window at the beginning of the cycle during which you can add additional garments to the load. To add items when this light is glowing, select PAUSE/CANCEL once to unlock the door, add your items, close the door, and select START to continue the cycle. (Page 14)
