How do I winterize the washer if I'm storing it in a freezing environment?

To winterize the washer, put 1 qt (1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the drum and run the washer on a Rinse/Drain & Spin cycle. Then unplug the washer or disconnect power, shut off both water faucets, and disconnect the water inlet hoses from the faucets and drain them. When returning the washer to use, reconnect the hoses, turn on the faucets, plug in the washer, and run a Normal/Casual cycle with half the recommended amount of HE detergent to remove any antifreeze.
