The washer requires a 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15- or 20-amp fused electrical supply with a time-delay fuse or circuit breaker recommended. A separate circuit serving only this appliance is recommended. The washer is equipped with a 3-prong grounding plug that must be plugged into a mating 3-prong grounding-type outlet grounded in accordance with local codes. A grounded outlet must be located within 6 feet (1.8 m) of where the power cord attaches to the back of the washer.
