How do I remove dye stains from the inside of my Whirlpool dryer drum?

Turn off electrical power and make sure the dryer is cool before cleaning the interior. Make a paste with powdered laundry detergent and very warm water, apply it to a soft cloth, scrub the stained area until the excess dye is removed, then wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth and tumble a load of rags to dry.
