How often should I clean the condenser coils and how is it done?
The condenser coils should be cleaned regularly and may need to be cleaned as often as every other month, which may help save energy. To clean them, open the freezer door, remove the base grille by removing 2 Phillips-head screws and pulling the grille toward you, then use a vacuum with an extended attachment to clean the coils when they are dusty or dirty. Replace the base grille by aligning the ends with the leveling assemblies on each side and snapping it into place, then reinstall the screws. (Page 9)
