What does the Over Temperature Alert mean and how do I turn it off?

The Over Temperature Alert activates when the freezer temperature rises to 19°F (-7°C) or higher, sounding a continuous alert tone and repeatedly flashing a red light on the control panel. Press TEMP SETTING once to turn off the alert tone; the red light will then change from flashing to continuously illuminated and will remain on until the freezer temperature falls below 19°F (-7°C). If the red light flashes but no tone sounds, an over-temperature event occurred but has since resolved; press TEMP SETTING once to clear it. (Page 7)
