The refrigerator controls are preset at the factory and should be at the mid-settings when you first install your refrigerator. The mid-settings are "3" for the refrigerator control and "4" for the freezer control. The controls are set correctly when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is firm. (Page 8)
