How much clearance space does the refrigerator need during installation?

Allow ½" (12.70 mm) of space on each side, 3" (7.5 cm) between the top of the refrigerator and overhead cabinets, and at least 1" (25.40 mm) between the back of the cabinet and the wall. If installing next to a fixed wall, leave a minimum of 2" (5.08 cm) on the hinge side to allow the door to swing open.
