Why is my ice maker not producing ice?

Common causes include the refrigerator not being connected to a water supply, the shutoff valve not being fully open, a kink in the water line, or the ice maker not being switched on. For a new installation, allow 24 hours after installation for ice production to begin and up to 72 hours for full ice production. Also check if a reverse osmosis system is reducing water pressure.
