How do I change the water filter on my Whirlpool refrigerator?

Press the eject button to release the filter from the base grille, then pull the filter straight out. Turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it, then align the ridge on the cap with the arrow on the new filter and turn until it snaps into place. After installing, push the filter into the base grille until the eject button pops back out, then flush the water system by dispensing 1.5 gallons (5.4 L) of water. (Page 6)
